Back in the 60s when I was still in high school, my dad arranged to have a
family friend who was in the NC Air National Guard buy me a Nikomat and 50
f/2 lens in Japan.

It always bothered me that my camera said "Nikomat" and all the other
similar cameras I saw were "Nikkormat". Funny that I still think about that.
