[Leica] (Now) Nikon 24-120

I hated that lens, could not get a decent result either on the D700 or
D800E for the most part, most shots were soft and had an unfocused look
about them - might have been an individual bad specimen, I don't know. I
bought it seduced by the focal length range - it struck me as ideal for
street photography. Sold it a marginal loss and went back to my old 24-85
and am quite happy with it on both bodies, as well as the weight, so will
stay with that for the time being. Have not tried the new 24-85 at all -
the AFS 24-70 f2.8 is great with the D800E, but too heavy for walkabout
photography.
