Thank you, Jayanand. I used to take lots of Kodachrome slides just for the 
colors and shapes of what I noticed, and now I'm doing it with digital.  I 
like to record these vignettes so I can see them again and again.  I take 
them for fun, so I would be dismayed if they were judged as pretentious.
