Yes, I had seen this used by ladies in the Swiss Alps back in the 70s  
and 80s.
They must have learnt of its hazardous effects - skin cancer and they  
no longer do.

I had to get the artillery out to get him without being spotted out,  
but his face looked like shining and nearly deprived of structure even  
from a good 50 yards away ...
