Actually, I do not like Jaipur much, it is far too kitschy and touristy for my taste. Hawa Mahal (Palace of the Winds) is not a palace but just a facade which is emblematic of the city, and what is more, it is under dense scaffolding at this point of time. Both Amber and Nahargarh Forts are nice, but there are much better examples all over that part of India, Chittorgarh Fort for example. Jaipur is a prime example of a city that has evolved into a place for tourists to shop...
