The last time I remember some enormous company trying to ram one down the
consumers throat was Intel and the Processor that could not add.

At first they tried to deny the errors, then they tried to tell the world it
only happened under some conditions, and then finally they relented and did
what the public wanted.... they replaced all the bad processors.

Now maybe you do not associate a processor that could not add correctly with
the offering of Cloud SW in lieu of physical SW, but if you see it from the
perspective of the user, and especially the best interests of the user, it
is the same story: Big Business rams something in their best interests down
the consumers throat... to the company's profit line. The consumer suffers.

Yes, Adobe has a de facto monopoly on imaging SW. They know that consumers
have no other choice.

We will see.......
