They certainly are an interesting development for Fujifilm and Sony
cameras. They already have lenses for the Sony dSLRs of course. I presume
that the actual manufacture is by Cosina. I haven't seen prices, that will
be the best indicator there. Fujifilm are expanding their range of primes
for themselves too plus a better short zoom too. I wonder where those are
put together as well.
