I think your Imac is of the same generation as mine - watch out for  
the animal you're running 10.??

I got LR4 at Xmas and haven't installed it either on my own mac or on  
Alice's for that reason - our teddy bears or big cats are too old to  
support it.
I have a brand new Imac in its still sealed box and sold as running  
last October's new pet which I will use for LR4 when my mac finally  
crashes :-)
