Totally expected result - the difference in the price of the respective
lenses is what you pay if you need that sort of results when shooting wide
open. Again, the Nikon 50mm f1.4G is not a spectacular lens wide open
either, none of the current crop of Canikons are. Stop down a bit, and the
results will be much closer. Nothing to do with the sensor, it is all about
the lenses.

I actually would like someone to test the Fuji 35mm f1.4 (50mm equivalent)
against the Leica 50mms, it would be interesting.
