Thank you George,
I was attracted to the wedding ring on the mans hand and his sergeant's 
stripes, and wanted to make sure I caught both of those, so that is 
where I stopped & raised the camera.
While doing that I was hemmed in by the crowd, making it impossible to 
compose otherwise before the moment was lost.
