Howard and Bob,

You might like "The Dog Stars" by Peter Heller - just finished reading it,
even bought in real print for once.  The main character (there aren't many)
flies an old Cessna 182 on scouting trips around post-apocalyptic Colorado.
One of the better finds this year, IMHO.
