I rarely see anybody use "Se?orita" in a post except those started by Lluis
and Nathan, and using that word where they live is not at all offensive. If
someone responds to a thread by Lluis or Nathan containing "Se?orita", would
they be offending you, your wife, your daughter, and 5 female grandchildren
as well? Guilt by response? I hope not. You and your extended family might
want to steer way clear of Spain.

I suppose I'm surprised that you are nonplussed by the use of that word in
threads by Lluis and Nathan, and you seem to be extending your outrage to
the LUG membership in general. And soon after giving a big "high five" to
RicCarter for his comments to Tina.
