Alan,

first thanks. C&C are always welcome.

Second: I tried cropping both sides and went back because I thought that the
result was a bit too sparse for the image as I had pre-visualised it. It's 
not
actually as barren up there as I have made it look. I will explore other 
options
further at some point.
