Do you remember the movie "Polyester" with the scratch 'n sniff smellovision?

Smell IS very much attached in memory, and I distinctly remember the smell 
of my 2nd grade teacher's perfume (1957). It was "My Sin", but she was at 
least 80 years old, so it was all on the up and up.
