To clarify for everybody, I typed.

and thought it would be taken as Judge Ted wouldn't have to comment on every 
entry, but just what he found compelling and deciding for him in the winning 
photograph.

I have no objection to comments from anybody else about any contest 
photographs submitted AFTER Ted has given his judgement. Any comments 
earlier than the verdict could be seen as "leading". But I'm sure all you 
fellow citizens of the Republic of Leica are above any devious or dirty 
tricks and that there is some honour among chimpers :-)

Now IF Ted wants to comment on other pictures in the competition, other than 
the winner, then that is his perogative.

This kerruffle reminds me of what the Irish playwright Brendan Behan once 
remarked about Irish political organisations - the first item on the agenda 
was the split <grin>
