Has opened the day for our photographs of great and imaginative excitement to create our new 2013 LUG book during the year 2013! So get yer ass in gear and get your two images into the new location as offered by Jim! It seems as always, I'm a great believer in our "LUG BOOK PROJECT" each and every Christmas initiated by Jim some years ago! And many many of you lads and lasses have made it a smashing great success each year! So this year let us break the total for the Year? I'm sure Jim will enlighten us with the total of last year so lets try...... as tough as it maybe? Break it this year 2013. So instead of my usual screaming ranting, raving blood curdling vitriolic carryings on? This year I'd start out in a gentle loving caring fashion for the betterment of human kind? Where we? As the worlds greatest collection, "in capitals?" "THE BEST PHOTOGRAPHERS IN THE world?" ;-) Have you ever seen a negative rebutted to that comment? Each year I've used it??????? NEVER!!!!!!!! WHY? QUITE SIMPLE REALLY! BECAUSE THIS GROUP OF PHOTOGRAPHERS TRULY ARE THE BEST IN THE WORLD! SO! Quite simply because all the other babblefest locations haven't go a clue what "incredible photography is "ALL ABOUT!" And we will continue not only each year to help the unfortunate down trodden folks with the greatest effort possible! SO NUMBER ONE! 1/ Get your 2013, 2 - images submitted! Oh I know there's a month to go! Get over it! If you don't have a couple of smashing great photos by now in a eleven months period! What the hell have you been doing? Playing "hop -Scotch tidally winks?"? And "no-no for heavens sake!" Don't come back with some dumb ass nonsense about there's a month to go for submission before Midnight December 2013! Quite frankly that's a crap ass excuse for not taking smashing wonderful photographs all year 2013! Now very quickly get yer asses in gear and photos submitted! Thank you all so very much quite simply because you are all part of an absolutely smashing great and wonderful group of photographers, "THE LUG FAMILY!" Of which, lo these many years. But to summarize: ***IMPORTANT CHANGE: SUBMIT ALL IMAGES TO LUGYEARBOOK at YAHOO.COM DO NOT SEND THEM TO MY LUG ADDRESS!*** 1. Please submit images captures/taken during 2013. Up to two per person. 2. You need not have used a Leica Camera or Lens to capture/take the image. Pick your two best from this year. 3. Submit images to LUGYEARBOOK at YAHOO.COM DO NOT SEND YOUR IMAGES TO THE LIST! 4. Images must be at least one meg in size, .jpg format. 5. You DO NOT HAVE TO PURCHASE ANYTHING!!! At the end of the month, I?ll make the yearbook publically available, as with the previous editions. 6. Anyone can submit images. Friends, other photographers you know, spouses, children, pets (if they can press a capture button). Important: I post images within 48 hours of receipt. If you don?t hear back from me after two days, assume that your images were not received!!! Each yearbook has a $7 surcharge over the basic blurb.com cost, which goes to Project H.O.M.E. in Philadelphia. Since 2006 the LUG?s vanity project has resulted in more than $3000 in donations to Project H.O.M.E. Now, it?s up to you, Uncle Ted <g>.
