 New York City's Staten Island ferry is free for everyone, over and under 
65. It gives you a 25 minute ride through New York harbor, past the Statue 
of Liberty, with a full view of Manhattan's skyline. It has been called the 
best free ocean voyage in the world. You can take the ferry from the Battery 
to Staten Island and stay on it for the return trip. It's a lovely way to 
spend a summer afternoon.

The Hong Kong skyline is always spectacular. I have always maintained
the ferries there are the cheapest tourist rides going anywhere in the
world!
