Subject: [Leica] IMG: Grand Mufti of Aleppo

As a part of the Christian/Jewish/Muslim Dialogue group, we met with the
Grand Mufti of Aleppo in his elaborate apartment in downtown Aleppo.  He
was very cordial, especially to the young people in our group.  I just read
today, while looking him up to spell his name, that his 22-year-old son was
assassinated in the conflict in Syria.  The Grand Mufti is a supporter of
Assad.
