But as I said before, I don't know Amities Philippe I am curious, I do not have a P&S camera with a zoom lens. The Vario X has been shown to be very high quality and I suspect that this shares a few traits as well as taking M lenses - will see how it copes with the wide angles ones..... But not going to be cheap john ________________________________________ Thanks john it looks it's got everything Leicaphiles have repeatedly said they hate; - emasculated sensor, - EVF, - AF, - stereo movie recording, - liveview, - minimal ergonomics, and perhaps more. Who's right and who's wrong I don't know but it could be an apt replacement piece for Digilux3 users such as I was. And of course for the FB generation as stated in the thread, which means it may already be old hat from what my kids tell me.
