I spoke to him later and he turned out to be a leprechaun in mufti emulating those two great wire walkers Blondin and Petit :-) For those of you you want to see an interesting film try "Man On Wire" about Philippe Petit's incredible (and illegal) wire walk between the Twin Towers in New York.
