Subject: [Leica] IMG: Suburban Contrast

The outskirts of Siagon go on for miles and miles and you don't think you
will ever get out of the city.  Then you get to the new suburbs where many
housing developments are springing up around the existing shacks.  The new
houses, even though they are surrounded by lots of empty land, are all 4
stories tall and one room wide, with no windows on the sides.  The
explanation was that that was the way townhouses were in the city,
connected to each other, so the new subdivisions were built the same way
but with free-standing houses.  Looks kind of strange to me!
