Subject: [Leica] Male Rufous Hummingbird

Hi Luggers,
Here is a picture of a male rufous hummingbird taken this morning.
It is my first ever picture of a male Rufous - in other years I have only
taken
pictures of female Anna and Rufous birds. I hope he stays around for the
summer so I can take lots of picture of him. According to my Bird Book, he
should be gone North
by now - but times they are a-changing.

Taken with the Nikon D800E and the 300 f4.0 plus 1.7 extender (which is
sharper than the 2X)
Cropped to about 1/3 the frame in CS6.

Please look large. C&C always welcome.

Howard
