Lluis,

Just me, but if I had a talent like yours I would never let anyone 
develop my film.  Every time I have had a lab develop silver film it has 
been a mistake (OK, I don't have HCB's assistants handy).  C41 and E6, 
yes, b&w, no.  I had problems with water quality also. But, we were 
lucky to have a plant here bottling "mineral" water (Ozarka brand).  
They brought water up from their well, distilled it, and then added 
always the same amount of minerals.  I used that for developing, 
filtered tap water for the rest and distilled with Photo Flo for final.
