The simple answer is yes, without a doubt. It is not the same type of 
software though. Lightroom in my opinion is more a 'Library' orientated 
software whereas really you need something like Photo Mechanic running 
alongside C1 as the IPTC side of life on C1 is a bit slow and cumbersome to 
use. That having been said, it is superb software. I have not tried DxO so 
cannot comment.
