Thanks all for your comments, I appreciate the feedback.  My primary hard 
drive crashed while starting my backups and for a few tense hours I thought 
I had lost the picture - but no photos were lost and all are now safely 
copied.

BTW in 24 hours I'll be retired from my day job.  I'll need a bigger hard 
drive :)

SSD opinions?
