I have had a credit card specially issued with low limits (US$750),
specifically for using online, for many years now. At least it puts a
cap on the potential losses! I never use my credit cards in Malaysia,
Indonesia, and in Africa unless it is an emergency - I carry a special
Foreign Exchange card which I can load up with whatever currency I
want before I travel - again to put a cap on losses if fraud occurs.
That said, I never have had a fraud on my cards yet...(-:
