Today I loaded up some Reala 100 and took the 617 and a few lens for some California coastal views. I miss using the camera. It's so much fun. I also think I finally "understand" color negative film scanning now. The key is that there's a huge dynamic range compared to slides. Once I really grok that, I think I can make it work. I will probably continue to use Provia 4x5 for my cosplay photo project though. Don't want to introduce new variables now... I normally avoid the "stick the main subject in center" panoramic images, but this one calls for it, IMHO: http://richardmanphoto.com/PICS/20141026-Scanned-539.jpg -- // richard <http://www.richardmanphoto.com> // http://facebook.com/richardmanphoto // https://www.facebook.com/Transformations.CosplayPortraits
