Ric, Yes - I took care about the viewpoint I wanted, and where I should stand to achieve it. As 99% of my panoramas are taken handheld as I never carry a tripod, I have got myself a technique of swiveling from the waist that gives acceptable results (as long as I hold my breath and unwind from the waist slowly and carefully). :-) When you take 15 shots of 16MP each, you have a few pixels to spare for cropping and straightening the merged photograph anyway.
