Thanks George the PhaseOne people also mentioned this in a slide show thing
I sat through a few months back.
" Capture the most demanding scenes in one shot and retain details in
highlights and shadows with the IQ250 thanks to its abundant 14 f-stop
dynamic range."
It throws me a bit as there are only ten zones in the zone system I am quite
used to and Ansel and Fred where making contact prints from 8x10 negs at the
time..  And now 5 zones in which there are detail which I've grown used to
over many decades. They gave it seven.
So 14 sounds as bit phantasmagorical.
When I look up "dynamic range" its from whitest white to blackest black..
Who this relates to your real textured thresholds is anybody's guess who is
not familiar with the materials first hand.

If it was me id just say "don't worry about the latitude, Charley".
