Subject: [Leica] Christmas comes early

I was showing some prints to folks that come into where I work the other 
day, and discussing cameras with some of them.
One gentleman tells me his dad had a Leica and unfortunately they sold 
all of his cameras and lenses when he died years ago.
BUT...
He continues to say a few weeks ago he was getting ready to move, and 
looked in a box that had negs and prints that his dad took, and he found 
a smaller box that had, as he said "some old Canon lens."
So I said bring it in & I'll look at it.

He did so, today, and GAVE me a pristine Canon 50mm f/1.2 LTM lens, 
complete with the leather lens case & both original caps.
It also had the original hood and a yellow filter, with the leather case 
that holds both of those.

I can't wait to get a proper LTM adapter & go out and play with it on 
the Monochrom...
