I tried some IR recently. M9, and a few lenses.... Filters were cheap
Chinese filters, 750nM for E46 and E55 sizes, and an old Leica E39 IR
filter. The scene was a seascape with receding land. Tripod.

The 35 ASPH Summicron needed the IR to be refocused...
Ditto the 75 Summarit
But the 1365 APO Telyt seemed to not display the same need.... It seemed, in
my limited testing, to not require a focus correction for IR.

The Leica filter was of a different spectral cutoff.

I do miss the M8 for its high IR sensitivity...... The M9 needed about 9
stops of exposure increase compared to the same scene without a IR filter,
regardless of lens mounted.

> I think all the IR shots I showed earlier this year (needs bright light!)
were with it, did not see either. I think the 35mm Summilux asph FLE was the
only other one I tried but did not get much in focus...
