My first Leica was a IIIA considered to be pretty Barnack like and he was
selling it to me with a Clean Canon 50mm 1.4 lens which I spurned in favor
of a not clean Elmar. A mistake. The lens was like a dirty aquarium and made
everything look like you were a fish inside. So I got rid of it. Got my M6 a
few years later. I pretend the whole thing didn't happen. Don't remind me.
