HI Jim,
Too bad it won?t ever fly again. I remember flying in DC3?s as a passenger 
and it was a strange feeling to be sitting angled to the ground when the 
plane was loading.
Then as it took off - gaining speed the tail would lift - you would be 
sitting horizontal to the ground and eventually you would gently lift off - 
engines roaring. A great experience. Thanks for posting.

Subject: [Leica] IMG: One More from Film Found in in R2a

Here is one more image from the roll of BW400CN found in my Bessa R2a.  
This DC-3 was hauling skydivers when it lost an engine, and sits as a 
monument to the past.  It was deemed too expensive to restore it to 
flying status.
