My eldest daughter did her PhD at the University of Wales in Bangor. She
went there about 15 years ago and has never returned, settling on Anglesey,
getting married and having 3 boys and buying a smallholding to add to her
work as a Marine biologist.
We rarely go anywhere else for holidays both for family reasons and our love
of Snowdonia, I have been fell-walking (very much not running?) there for 50
years.
OTOH I have never thought of Kodachrome as very accurate on greens, and I
tend to agree with Douglas that Tina?s scans show ?Kodachrome? greens not
true ?Welsh? greens.
Anyway, beautiful pictures of a landscape I love.

I go to South Stack if we are visiting during the bird breeding season
there. One can see Ireland from there, and if not careful can end up getting
an expensive ?foreign? mobile phone call since the phone signal strength
there from Ireland is stronger than any UK one?
cheers,
Frank D.
