Ha ha, would you send an M9 (if you had one) and nine lenses direct to Leica 
internationally? Me, I flew up to Auckland to personally hand them to the MD 
of the importers as there is no way I could get even 5% of their value in 
insurance. As for the 'somebody else' you seem to forget that not everyone 
lives in the same country as DAG or Sherry.....

Check the archives on the LUG everybody here sends their camera to Leica or 
someone else directly.
