That sentiment, of it being considered art, has nothing to do with the size it was printed - that is just a strategy to charge more (most artists below the top couple of rungs charge by square inch/cm) - it is just considered art because of the marketing savvy of the photographer! Remember, pricing in the art world is ONLY based on what the market will bear.
