The heat has not slowed operations at the local airport. This North
American AT-6D cranked up and took off for a flight shortly after I took
the picture.

The Civil Air Patrol and the Beechcraft Heritage Museum are holding a
week-long event for cadets this week. Gliders and tow planes have been
busy each afternoon. I saw this tow coming back over the airport.

Several times each year, the Tennessee Weights and Measures Office
checks the output of the airport fuel truck, to assure accurate
dispensing of fuel. It is a hot task in the Summer sun.
