Subject: [Leica] M9 question

I have now received my M9 with which I am absolutely delighted. I just have 
one question: I expected the shutter to be a discrete Leica ?Click? but I am 
getting a click followed by a whirr as though I had a motor attached. Can I 
alter that? I have looked but cannot find anything in the manual, and have 
to go out now to test it at a gig.
