Subject: [Leica] Zeiss Planar T and no beer

Square hoods are perfect for a square format camera.
The rectangular hood I had for my Contarex bullseye was was exactly 24/36 or
2/3's format.  That was for a Zeiss 50mm f2 Planar lens made in 1958.. A
lens thought to be a macro but not stated  as such. I think Zeiss or Cosina
is re making them now. The lens not the hood. The hood would cost more than
a typical modern lens.
The build and craftsmanship on the Zeiss Contarex system has never been
equaled.
