Three years ago, shortly before she died, my mother gave us a quince tree 
which
I had always wanted.

It took a year or two for the then two-year old tree to settle in. Last year 
it
produced about half a dozen or so fruit, this year our harvest ran to 126 
quince!

I couldn't resist lining them up and photographing them. Sorry it's hackneyed
but here is a sample:

BTW the type is "Varanja".
