Ted, I'm also using X gear these days and I concur with Jayanand as to the 
hurdles in the learning curve, as well as to the (excellent) results.

I would add that the buttons are SMALL, and I know you have pretty large 
hands and surprisingly long fingers. 
You may read my conclusion between the lines?

Also, I've never been able to find or accurately reach those f... 
buttons/switches with my right thumb when my eye is against the VF.
Do you remember how awkward the R4/5/6 felt compared to the R8 & R9?
I feel just the same with my X-T1 even though it provides all these useful 
features I had not even dared to dream of in my R years.

Tina went/stuck back to Leica I think.

For different valuable reasons.

Hope this helps while waiting for the new release to be actually released .. 
and to have received "hands-on" experience on the field.
