She is a very grandmotherly woman whose family I stayed with several times. http://www.pbase.com/tinamanley/image/162395431 and the next 5. The second one looks different because I've lost the original Kodachrome and this is an Ektachrome copy of a print, but I love her expression in that one so I posted it. To make me feel welcome, they cut fresh pine branches and covered the dirt floor of my room with them. They smelled great, but they were full of chiggers!! I itched for weeks.
