I would prefer something in the middle.

But, these are not the same photo.  One has more rock/dirt and the other 
more vegetation, so perhaps the auto setting is reading differences in the 
actual composition.  Try using the auto on the same RAW file and see what 
you get.

Here is an example of the color balance difference I was talking about in
PS and LR.  This one is much warmer and was balanced (Auto) in LR:

The warmer one is closer to what I remember but the other one looks
natural, too, to me, as long as it is not next to the first one!!

Do you have a preference?
