It's just amazing how fast it all goes by. It really is a spectacle, but 
one where you get to understand so much more on TV.

Salgado did some photos of it years ago. Here's a link:

exhibition doesn't supply much info.

I went to see stage 12 at Les Imberts near Gordes...I will get posting 
when I get back to UK in ten days. Spent more time photographing people 
than bikes!

Watched the ascent on TV - and the crash!
