Unless I am mistaken, the Maxxum lenses are made for the Alpha cameras... as
in model A99 etc. Their registration distance is LONGER than the NEX family
( A7 family).
There is a Sony made adapter for the Maxxum lenses that is supposed to work
well.... Check on the Sony Site for specifics and compatibility.........
AF etc need to be checked to be sure you are getting what you think you are
getting...

Just as a note... the Maxxum line became the Sony Alpha lineup..... through
an acquisition.....

Anyone tried this mix? The Maxxum lenses are supposed to work nicely.
