Subject: [Leica] Correct a front-focussing 90 Summicron (Leitz Canada)

Thanks Phillipe and John!

That's what I'm deciding to do, and cheers to you both for helping me
think this through.

I do have another Leica body, an M3, but that is still as accurate as
my M9, so no complicating concerns there.

So, I'll send Mr Repair-San my M9 (he already has my 90 'cron) and ask
him not to adjust the M9, but only to use it while adjusting the 90
'cron to make sure that it focusses well (esp. wide open) on the M9.

By the way, he is Nakamura-san in Kumamoto, Japan, in case that info
might help anyone, and here is his site/blog, though it doesn't seem
to get many updates: http://nakamuraop.exblog.jp/i6/.

Thanks for thinking this through with me!

Peter

Or the body and the 90 cron stating expressly you want them NOT to modify
anything on the body and focus their efforts on the lens ONLY
