Lovely really.

My eye was also attracted by the tinsel like off area. And it reminded me of 
my early pentax lenses, except that they displayed that colorful hexagonal 
(or more sided) feature when closed down. Hence the question, what was the 
aperture that provides this and yet also limits the DoF?
