Subject: [Leica] IMG: Focusing

I like to use manually focused lenses, but, from recent experience, I've 
decided that, if I want eyes to be in focus, I should consider using 
autofocus.  To go back to the "old reliable", I put the original ZD14-54 
lens on my E-1 and looked around for a suitable subject.  I settled on 
this "sun catcher" on a very cloudy day.  I think the AF results are 
better than what I have been getting with manual close-ups.

One thing that I have learned, however, is never try to shoot sky divers 
with an AF lens, unless you can lock the lens at infinity. The old, 
manual lenses do it best.
