Subject: [Leica] IMG: Large Ant Hill of Medium-Sized Black Ants

For some time now, I have been watching this scene develop. Between my
paved parking area and the adjoining fence, a large ant hill has
developed. The ants appear to be black and about 3/8 inch long. Before
I attempt to poison them, I thought I would ask these groups for advice.

A view of the ant hill:

Some ants, seen on the leaf:

Comments and critiques welcomed and appreciated.
