Dr. Ted:

Bear with me here.  This image shows "Implied Motion".  The highway
interchange  shown is the busiest in our city.  This shot was made at 3 PM
on a Friday when there were dozens of vehicles in motion in view of the
camera. A 25-second exposure allowed the motion to make the vehicles
invisible. So if there weren't motion, many vehicles would be seen in the
image.
